Video Tips: Claim Your Recovery Rebate Credits Before the Deadlines

The IRS is issuing a reminder to individuals who may be eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit to submit their tax returns and secure their funds before the deadline.

Most of those who qualify for the Economic Impact Payments, which are part of the COVID-19 tax relief measures, have already obtained them or have claimed them via the Recovery Rebate Credit. The cut-off dates for filing a return and claiming the credits for 2020 and 2021 are set for May 17, 2024, and April 15, 2025, respectively.
