THE TAX CUTTERY - INDIVIDUAL TAXPAYER IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

An ITIN is a tax identification number only available for certain foreigners and nonresident individuals, their spouses and dependents who cannot get a SSN from the Social Security Administration (SSA).

CONTCT US

ITIN Services for YOU & Your FAMILY

We are Certifying Acceptance Agents

Do not confuse us with Acceptance Agents (AA) or basic strip-mall tax preparers and notaries who have very limited or no authority.

We are authorized agents by IRS ITIN office and we can issue Certificate of Accuracy (COA).

While you can file for and get an ITIN by yourself, it is recommended that you hire an IRS Enrolled Agent & IRS Certifying Acceptance Agent with the authority to serve as a Power of Attorney and represent your interests before the IRS to go through the process for you.

Why Hire an EA + CAA + POA?

THE TAX CUTTERY can help you get your ITIN the easy way!

Do I need an ITIN?

A Federal Tax ID Number is required for inclusion on returns and other tax-related documents. The Federal Tax ID Number can be a Social Security Number, an Employer Identification Number (EIN) or an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). Without a Federal Tax ID Number your tax returns will not be accepted by the IRS.

If you are an individual who is required to furnish a federal tax identification number or to file a federal income tax return, but you do not have or qualify for the Social Security Number, you are going to need an ITIN. It will serve as an identification number for filing your taxes, open a bank account, apply for a mortgage, claim tax refunds from the IRS if you are eligible, and it also allows you to file your taxes to claim dependents you are supporting in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
